The Calgary Foundation 2009 Bursary for a student in financial need in the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy.

The effective management of energy and natural resources is a critical challenge for all countries and for the world as a whole. At the heart of CEPMLP's mission is to educate tomorrow's leaders in this field. This scholarship will allow us each year to help one able but needy professional to complete their programme of study.

CEPMLP achieved a high research rating in the 2008 RAE as part of the submission from the University's Law Unit of Assessment. The Unit finished among the top four Law submissions in Scotland (out of 11), and among the top 19 out of 67 in the UK. All of its research was classified as being of an international standard.
